For 40 years, the BUENO Center for Multicultural Education has been conducting research focused on bilingual, multicultural, and special education; as well as facilitating comprehensive professional learning for educators, and advocating for culturally and linguistically diverse learners.

Join the BUENO Center for Multicultural Education in this thought-provoking and enlightening two-day institute designed to build knowledge and skills about the education of culturally and linguistically diverse learners. The institute is designed for both novice and experienced K-12 teachers and school administrators, so that they may expand their knowledge of how to serve culturally and linguistically diverse learners.

Faculty, researchers, and professors from the BUENO Center and University of Colorado Boulder will deliver research-based, engaging, and participatory sessions addressing some of the following topics related to culturally and linguistically diverse learners: biliteracy instruction; English language development; special education; and family and community engagement. And for Colorado K-12 teachers, the BUENO Summer Institute will offer up to 12 hours of CLD credit for recertification.
