BUENO Poudre Masters/Endorsement ProgramOverviewThis is an opportunity for teachers in the Poudre School District to simultaneously earn a Master of Arts in Education, Equity and Cultural Diversity and an English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement.The University of Colorado BUENO Center for Multicultural Education was recently awarded a grant through the U.S. Department of Education, Office of English Language Acquisition to provide teachers an opportunity to earn a Master of Arts degree in Education Equity and Cultural Diversity and a Culturally (EECD) and Linguistically Diverse (CLD) endorsement (also referred to as the ESL endorsement). The program will begin spring semester of 2017. This grant program is limited to participation by teachers from the Poudre School District only. Two cohorts of 30 teachers each one Pre-5th/elementary and one 6-12th secondary will be selected by a competitive application process. Tammy Molinar-LeBlanc, Director for this M.A. degree program is seeking applications for this program (see application below). The deadline for applications is December 2, 2016. Students selected for participation in this project will take one or two courses per semester to complete the 31 hour Master’s program.
